I’m David Lam. I was born and raised in Scarborough, a district of Toronto known for its diversity where over 70% of residents are visible minorities.

Growing up there meant hearing five languages on a single bus ride, eating food from every corner of the world, and realizing early that inclusion isn’t just a design principle, it’s a way of life.

From volunteering in creative roles to leading teams, I’ve always chased stories that connect with people.

That perspective has shaped everything I do as a designer and storyteller today.

  • Rebuilt the company website with streamlined user flows and clearer content hierarchy, increasing inbound lead conversions.
  • Built a cohesive brand identity system differentiating Tinybox in the sustainable housing market.
  • Generated $500K in sales within 12 weeks and grew a 5,000+ customer waitlist through 3D renders and storytelling campaigns.
